KidsQuest Express Crusade
KidsQuest Express is a six-lesson multi-use evangelistic program. Use it as a follow-up to the classic crusade, a one-week children’s camp, any kind of outreach or Vacation Bible School. Lesson topics such as, “Who is God?” “What is Sin?” and “Who is Jesus?” lead kids with no previous Bible knowledge to the point of salvation. The program, which incorporates comedy characters, illusions, object lessons, games and dramas, was designed to be used in developing nations and requires little or no financial investment to perform. KidsQuest Express comes with an optional kit containing clown supplies, select props, music CD, backdrop, and training DVDs.
Extensive Crusade Training
Each KidsQuest team receives up to 12 hours of behind-the-scenes training. A comprehensive crusade manual leads users step-by-step through all aspects of this dynamic program. Team members join with church members in rehearsals that ensure a quality program.
One-on-One Follow-up
Each performance concludes by giving children an opportunity to ask a caring adult more about being a Christian or to make a decision to follow Christ. Members of the local church serve as altar workers ministering one-on-one with each child. This establishes a contact between the child and someone in the local church.
Seeker Series
This gripping, six-part evangelistic comic book series is designed to take a child with no understanding of God and lead them to Christ. The Seeker Series then systematically takes a young person through the basics of the Christian faith answering questions like: Who is God? What is Sin? Who is Jesus? How do I become a Christian? How to I live a Christian life? Books can be given to the children at each performance or they can be used as follow-up tools.
13 Week Seeker Series Curriculum
Using the PowerMark Seeker Series, students can enter a 13 week discipleship course designed to provide a solid foundation for young converts. The format is provides a ½ hour group lesson followed by a small group discussion period. This small group discussion provides opportunity for teachers to make sure their students are correctly understanding their commitment to Jesus.
One Year Children's Curriculum
After the crusade, the church uses this 52 week evangelistic curriculum that systematically takes a child through the basics of becoming a Christian and living the Christian life. It then builds a solid foundation of spiritual understanding. Lesson topics include: Who am I? Who is God? Who is Jesus? What is God like? Who is the Holy Spirit? What does it mean to know God? Each weekly lesson includes a Bible lesson, Scripture Verse, Illustrated Life Application Story, Object Lessons and games to help reinforce learning.
Children's Ministry Training
Children’s ministry training is part of the KidsQuest training strategy. The local children’s leaders are provided with at least 10 hours of training. Topics include: Biblical Basis for Children’s Ministry, How to Lead a Child to Christ, Scripture Memory, Storytelling, Lesson Preparation, Using the KidsQuest Curriculum, Teaching a Child to Pray, etc.
There are many international models for using these programs and materials. Quest does not impose a prescription for their use upon the local context. We recognize that some situations are unique and use of the components will vary in some locations. Careful analysis with local workers and leaders is essential prior to determining what model best suits a local context.
KidsQuest Drug Free
Our newest resource is the Drug Free School Program that encourages kids to choose a lifestyle free from drug addiction and alcohol abuse. The moto of the program is “Be the Tiger” because the tiger is strong and can stand firm. Children receive a “Be the Tiger” comic book that provides information on what drugs can do to your mind and body. They also receive and tiger striped wrist band they can wear to remind them or the decision they have made to “Be Wise, Be Strong, and Be Free” and live a life without drugs and alcohol abuse.
The Drug Free School Program also provides training for the teachers in the schools to equip them to educate and encourage children towards making a commitment to stay clean and set an example for their friends.
