Steve and Mindy Benintendi

Steve and Mindy Benintendi have served for more than 23 years as Assembly of God missionaries. Their first 12 years were spent doing evangelism outreach in Malaysia and Singapore. For the last 15 years they have served as Children’s Ministry Coordinators for the Asia Pacific region. During that time, they have traveled throughout Asia conducting outreach evangelism for families.
Their first program was called “Jungle Village” and reached out to families in the Asia Pacific region. Now they travel the world, training people to reach out to children. Currently, Steve and Mindy direct Quest Ministries International, a ministry dedicated to reaching the world’s 2.3 billion children with the gospel and linking them to local churches around the world.

KidsQuest is an all-inclusive outreach and discipleship program that equips churches to reach out to children in their community. KidsQuest started as a comprehensive evangelism strategy by Steve and Mindy in Asia. In 2000, KidsQuest became a global program. KidsQuest incorporates teacher training, a three night children’s crusade, printed follow-up material, and one year children’s church curriculum. In 2001 KidsQuest was adopted as national program by the USA Assemblies of God. Since that time, many new KidsQuest programs have been developed, including a series of school programs. Mindy and Steve continue to direct the International efforts of KidsQuest.

Steve is also the creator/writer of PowerMark Comics, a continuing comic book series distributed around the world in more than 20 languages. A hero named PowerMark and his international crew of kids present a powerful Bible story in each issue, wrapped with an exciting adventure series that has each issue ending with a cliffhanger. With over 30 titles in print, there are over 7,000,000 issues of PowerMark in circulation worldwide in countries as far away as the Philippines, Zimbabwe, and Iceland.

Mindy spends much of her time as a children’s ministry trainer and curriculum writer. She continues to travel and train workers around the world. Mindy also serves as the Asia Pacific representative on the international Children’s Ministry Resource Commission for the Assemblies of God World Missions.
